Why Should you Get Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Raspberry

Revlon Colorburst lipsticks are certainly not new. In fact beauty bloggers have raved about it so much that I am tempted to get each and every shade from this brand. The creamy, smooth texture along with that superb packaging is something that instantly appeals about these lipsticks. I already have Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Crimson which is a gorgeous, reddish brown shade. Recently on one of my weekend shopping sprees I noticed a discount on Revlon lip products and immediately grabbed the opportunity to get one more shade from this range. Raspberry is a truly gorgeous berry red shade that is sure to send a few hearts aflutter. Unlike Crimson it is a bit sheer and you get this lovely lustre finish look with it

The packaging is superb. The quilted packaging with the color ends makes it one of the best looking lipsticks in my collection. Check it oust Does it not make you just drool!!!

The top snaps shuts properly so that it is easy to carry around Revlon Colorburst lipsticks in a bag. The lipstick is creamy and extremely smooth. It applies almost as well as any high end lipstick would. Just fabulous!!! The best part is it does not feel as if you have applied something heavy on your lips. It hides lip pigmentation and although it does look like this scary red in the tube actually it is quite natural on the lips. It also stays on quite well for a good three to four hours leaving behind a slight natural tint once it fades. Check out the swatches…

Here is a FOTD featuring my pretty daughter..resting my cheek against hers is one of the most beautiful feelings for me.

Well, my only grouse with Revlon colorburst lipsticks is obviously the price. Revlon has recently increased the price of these lipsticks for 580 to 600 bucksL. Thankfully I got a twenty percent discount on it. Even with the high price tag I feel the lipsticks are one of the best drugstore lipsticks available in the market. Hopefully I have convinced you to get at least one of these lipsticks. My next pick is Rosy Nude which is understandably sold out in every counter because it is one of the best nudes I have seen

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Crimson: Review, Swatches and FOTD

I know I am a little late but I just had to review the Revlon Colorburst lipsticks. These are by far one of the best budget lipsticks in the market with an amazing formulation, texture and staying power. I recently got myself the shade Crimson from this range and I have to tell you that I completely adore this lipstick. The texture is smooth, creamy and intensely pigmented.

Revlon colorburst lipsticks are available for 580 INR. I love the quilted black packaging as well..very classy and chic.

Crimson is a red with slight orange and brown tones. It is the perfect red lippi for dusky skin. I swatched a number of lippies from this range including True red, Plum, Raspberry and Fuchsia, but Crimson was by far the most flattering against my skin tone. The shade immediately perks up your face and you do not need any other makeup. The staying power is also great. Even after all the junk food that I had this lipstick easily stayed on for five hours leaving behind a slight reddish tinge. The texture is creamy and it fares well on my chapped lips. The best part is it does not transfer onto things..such a relief!!!

 My recommendation: Must must have

Haul Post!!! A little Mac, Faces and Revlon

I have been really, really ill these past few days. I had an eye infection, had low BP, my doctor declared I was sleep deprived and I nearly fainted in my kitchenL. I know how it sounds but I am actually looking at the bright side of things here. Since I was ill and all, my sweetest, dearest hubby decided I could shop for makeup J Yay..Yay..Yay. So I went ahead and got all these goodies for myself. I wanted to pick a lot more (I know I am being greedy but what the f@** we need to jump at these chances) but was really too weak to stand at the counters. So this is my small little haul.

Mac Lipstick: Any guesses???

Faces was running the sale. So got the blush at a flat 50% off and the cute nailpolish set at a 25% discount :)

I also got a Revlon Colorburst lipstick in shade Crimson. I got a Streetwear nail polish free with it

Btw my Valentine’s day was really nice..my hubby n me went to Dorabjee and had Drums of Heaven (chicken drumsticks) there. It is where we met for the first time and that is what we had back then. He also got me three huge cards and a red rose…soooooo sweet.

A Feast for Your Eyes! My New Mac Haul

There are days when you can go completely overboard and fortunately for me (and unfortunately my bank balance) today was one of those days ...
